Cleaning

  1. All 16 items are marked not dishwasher safe: 15 say 'Wash by hand' (14 of 16 are microwave safe) and the textile placemat is machine washable up to 40°. Villeroy & Boch tableware is made from hard porcelain, Premium Porcelain, Premium Bone Porcelain and earthenware; these materials are dishwasher-safe, except decorative items in hard porcelain and porcelain crockery with gold or silver detailing, which V&B recommends washing by hand with a mild washing-up liquid. Coffee, tea and some foods can stain: rinse after use; baking powder, lemon juice or vinegar help with stains.
