Care and use

  1. Wash, rinse and dry before first use; remove any labels or packaging.
  2. GenWare ceramics are oven, microwave, freezer and dishwasher safe (-40°C to 250°C), per Neville's guide.
  3. Avoid sudden extreme changes in temperature, such as straight from a freezer to a hot oven or grill, to reduce the chance of thermal shock.
  4. Use plastic or rubber scrapers to remove food residue; metal utensils or abrasives may damage the glaze. Never wash cutlery or other metal items among ceramics.
  5. Store with handles and spouts apart so they do not knock together; keep contact with metal surfaces to a minimum, as it can leave metal marking.
  6. Matt glazed and coloured products show wear more than standard white glazed items.
