Rex
Rex puts texture at the heart of tableware. Its name is inspired by the T. rex dinosaur and reflects the collection’s bold, distinctive surfaces. The collection includes two egg-shaped pieces that add a sculptural touch to the table. Rex reflects COOKPLAY’s belief that the future of premium tableware lies not only in colour, but increasingly in the richness, depth and character of its surfaces.

About the rangeThe texture that creates life
The pattern is a free, intuitive 3D graphic, drawn with no fixed plan. It changes from piece to piece and never repeats, and each cell follows the logic of nature.
- Porcelain fired to 1320 °CDense and non-absorbent, made for professional kitchens.
- Four plate sizes, glazed or mattXS, S, M and L. Matt is unglazed biscuit porcelain.
- Two lidded eggsS (30cl) and L (50cl): a bowl, matt outside and glazed inside, with a matt lid. Sold separately.
- Designed by Ana RoqueroCookplay's founder and creative director, who saw the collection as a living organism.

- Before washing: remove stubborn food or cutlery marks by hand, with soap and the green side of a scouring sponge.
- Keep it bright: soak it in whitening powder from time to time.
