  4. Stains use a non-abrasive pad.
  5. Dishwasher clean it regularly to prevent limescale build-up; don't mix cutlery and ceramics when cleaning.

Storage

  1. Drying allow items to air dry before stacking.

  3. Stacking don't stack hot wet ceramics, items not designed to be stacked, or mix-stack with other suppliers' tableware (particularly with an unglazed foot); don't over-stack.

Preventing scratches and metal marking

  1. Lift, don't slide place plates centrally when stacking and avoid excessive pressure on the surface.
  2. Cutlery lower-grade cutlery is softer and more prone to leave marks.
  3. Metal marks can usually be removed with proprietary products, in line with manufacturer guidelines.
  4. Aluminium don't put hot wet dishes into contact with aluminium surfaces.
